This year’s event is slated to offer 170+ distinct craft beers for public tasting from more than 65 breweries. The Bend Brewfest focuses on tasting and enjoying fine regional craft beers as well as great food. The Fermentation Celebration is a beer walk through the popular Old Mill District, with tastings from the region’s growing number of breweries. Participating breweries will feature unique, experimental and limited release beers—many of which will only available at the Fermentation Celebration. Those who wish to partake in beverages pay $20, which includes drink tickets and a commemorative tasting glass. The glasses will be available from 10 am-9 pm June 18th at the Ticket Mill.
Wednesday farmers market in downtown Bend begins! The one stop shop for those who wish to connect with growers and producers, purchase local food, and agricultural goods. The Bend Farmers Market is also the first farmers market in Oregon to launch a Farm to School program. They work with the Bend-LaPine School District to incorporate market products into school lunch programs and educated students about healthy eating.

After teaching cooking classes in San Francisco for almost 30 years, Donna was recognized by Bon Appetit with a feature and cover photo of her chocolate mousse pie. More recently, the Food Network featured Donna’s recipes in an episode hosted by Chef Bobby Flay and Michael Symon as they explored the colorful southwest.
On Saturday, Miguel de Alonso will be gracing us with his talents from 1-4 pm. If you haven’t experienced his instrumental Latin jazz on guitar and violin, you’re in for a treat.
